Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must be holding a three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university
- Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for XAT 2025 provided they can furnish their bachelor's degree certificate and mark sheet by the end of the admission year.
Age Limit
- There is no upper age limit as XAT eligibility criteria, which means candidates of any age group can apply.
XAT Eligibility Criteria & XLRI Eligibility is the same
- It must be noted that the XAT exam eligibility and that of the XLRI are the same. On the pattern of XAT eligibility criteria 2025, XLRI also does not impose minimum mark restrictions in applying for the PGDM course.
- However, depending on the course pursued, the eligibility criteria for XLRI may vary but the basic eligibility criteria remain the same.
XAT 2025 Exam Eligibility for NRIs
- According to XAT eligibility criteria, the domestic candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM 2025-26 must appear in XAT 2025.
- But the NRI and foreign candidates can apply through their valid GMAT scores. They do not need to appear for the entrance exam

Critical & analytical reasoning, reading comprehension (including poems & passages), vocabulary, English grammar, and other related exercises such as para jumbles, cloze tests, etc. |
The DM section will present scenarios drawn from both personal and professional lives. Candidates will be required to apply critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and prioritization to make informed decisions. |
A foundational understanding of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, modern maths, etc. The questions on DI are about clear interpretation, summarization, and insightful analysis of the data |
To test the keyboard, candidates will be requested to type--The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. |
In the GK section, 10 questions will focus on static GK, while the remaining 15 will delve into current affairs. |
