Candidates who wish to appear in SLAT 2023 should first check the eligibility criteria prescribed by the SIU and law colleges before filling out the application form. The eligibility criteria are as mentioned below:

Qualifying exam The candidate should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution.
Candidates appearing in the standard XII final examination and awaiting the results are also eligible to appear in SLAT 2023. Such candidates will have to show passing certificates or mark sheets at the time of counselling and admissions
Minimum marks in the qualifying exam Candidate must secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories must secure at least 40% marks.
Age limit There is no age limit for pursuing a 5-year integrated LLB offered by the Symbiosis Law Schools.
